Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day! I love this day and the cause that it represents. I have had many family and friend experiences with mental health and enjoy that Bell is trying to end the stigma and make it easier for people to talk about how they feel. Talk, text and tweet to raise money for mental health initiatives!
Make sure to check in on friends and to share how you are feeling with those you trust. If you need someone to talk to, try talking to a guidance counsellor at school. Here is the website with information on Bell Let’s Talk day.
Another great organization that is raising awareness for mental health is the Do It For Daron organization. This organization is based out of Ottawa and works with youth to create awareness and share ways to express themselves. Here is their website.
